Spiderfan.org
NEW!
This Spiderman fan site brought tears
to our eyes; it's what every fansite should be, were there enough
time and money. Obviously, this one is run on love. It's got the
usual - collectibles, news, all the titles - plus a lot more:
fun fan lists like "Top Ten Worst Costume Changes";
a complete glossary of Spiderman-related characters (where else
would you find the
alternate spelling of "Chicken-Cow"), the
authoritative e-zine "Peter Parker's Pad";
Spiderman collectibles, including a list of known Spidey spoken-word
recordings like a vintage "Show-and-Tell"
record/slideshow that calls to mind our earliest childhood memories.
And the fan
tattoos! And the
costumes!
Congrats to editor Jonathan Couper
and staff for putting together a masterpiece of Spideydom.

The
Grand Comic Book Database has a simple, but Herculean
mission: " to contain information on every comic book ever
published".
These guys look serious! The site
features cover scans, "creator credits, story details, and
other information useful to the comic book reader and fan; a database
that will be easy to use and understand, easy to add to, and easy
for people to contribute to." Aptly domained
www.comics.org. Find the comic
you loved as a child, then come back and buy it from us!

Shiverbones.com:
One man's opinion regarding the 40 best horror comics covers ever
designed. This man has scanned much; we bow to his efforts to
share these creepy yet stunning images. And yes, that's a Joe
Kubert cover above.

Speaking of gigantic
databases, Don Markstein's
Toonopedia is The
Encyclopedia Brittanica of cartoon characters. From
Andy Panda to Zot! and beyond. Detailed histories of the characters,
the comics and their publishers. A remarkable
achievement!

Who is the "Grey Hulk"?
Find out here! This nicely-designed
site is an homage to the character and reveals the
history of The Incredible Hulk in comics, TV and movies. Excellent
image galleries and an online shop where you can find Hulk memorabilia.
Looking for hard to find comic
art? This is the place to start your search. Links to comic
book artists' websites, comic art resources, galleries, retailers/publishers
and a comic art auction site.

Who is "Seafoam"
McDuck? Where is the Money
Bin? Who is Miss
Emely Quackfaster? The answer to these and other burning
questions can be found at
"Who's Who in Duckburg",
a compendium of Carl Barks and Don Rosa's colorful residents of
Duckburg. Masterfully compiled by rabid Norwegian DONALD DUCK
fan Sigvald Grøsfjeld Jr. Who's
he, for that matter? Also: Don't
miss his compelling history
of Duckburg.
